Peonies

Currently I am not working on any specific projects. It gives me the opportunity to have some fun taking random photos. A few days ago I was looking at my wife’s garden and her peonies. They are an old variety not seldom seen. They are all white with a touch of yellow and red in their centers. i have photographed them over the years when in bloom and sold an image of a tight close up of the flower in full bloom, but I have always been intrigued with the flowers as they decayed. Below are a three such photos of the decaying flowers.

Commercial Fishing Nets

I spent a couple of days this winter hanging around the commercial fishing docks in Montauk and Hampton Bays.

Montauk Winter Surfers 2

A couple of Saturdays ago I was out at Montauk Point and there was a good break. Checking the south side rocks I found a group of winter surfers. i spent a couple hours of photographing the surfers.
