it has been awhile since posting any updates. I have been busy creating new art but have been undecided about the future of this website. For now it will stay the same and I will be trying to post on a regular basis.

This evening after a weather front of pouring rain passes through four fisherman are working the famed False Bar at Montauk Point, New York.
Surf fishing jetty jockeys get in a line up on Shinnecock jetty. The fall Striper run is under way and the anglers are hoping for the fish of a lifetime.


I had a chance this summer to try a couple of astro landscape photos. I did some research on how to get these exciting night time images then went out and spent a night at the lighthouse.

Currently I am not working on any specific projects. It gives me the opportunity to have some fun taking random photos. A few days ago I was looking at my wife’s garden and her peonies. They are an old variety not seldom seen. They are all white with a touch of yellow and red in their centers. i have photographed them over the years when in bloom and sold an image of a tight close up of the flower in full bloom, but I have always been intrigued with the flowers as they decayed. Below are a three such photos of the decaying flowers.



The Spring run of Stripers and Bluefish is on and a fisherman is trying his luck.

I spent a couple of days this winter hanging around the commercial fishing docks in Montauk and Hampton Bays.
